Physical Education & Sports Policy (eng)

Physical Education & Sports Policy (spa)

In addition to the Physical Education curriculum, after-School sports practices and activities are offered for all students. Karate for example is offered to students by external professionals. Tennis is also offered to students in the same way and offers a modern programme developed by the International Federation of Tennis known as ‘Play and Stay’.

The sports facilities at The British Schools include a large, well-equipped Gymnasium (1654m2) changing rooms, Sports Fields, Hockey Pitches, a Floodlit All-Weather Synthetic Hockey Pitch, Rugby Pitches, Football Pitches, Basketball Courts, Tennis Courts and an Outdoor Swimming Pool.

All students are encouraged to participate in the wide variety of physical educational activities offered. Good habits are encouraged keeping in mind the student’s whole formation, not just as part of the academic curricula, but as part of their all-round education. The importance of commitment to fellow students is promoted by advocating a respect for others, punctuality, regular training and good personal care.
